Role - Data Modeler (Remote)

Type – Long Term Contract (15+ months)

Job Description

ü Prior experience and strong knowledge in Data Modeling.

ü Clear understanding of Data vault model (Hub, Satellite, Link, Link-Satellite) and Fact dimensional model.

ü Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions.

ü Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models.

ü Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.

ü Having experience in Data modeling tools like Erwin, Idera, ER/Studio etc.

ü Optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects.

ü Maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models along with corresponding metadata.

ü Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models.

ü Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments.

ü Knowledge in SQL, PLSQL and preferably Snowflake DB.

ü Basic scripting knowledge preferably python using snowsql.

ü Knowledge in Auto Finance life cycle.
