Role: Data Modeler

Location: Initially Remote( Boston,USA)

1. The Expertise:
   Strong Data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3nF, Dimensional) at both a project and enterprise level
   Dimensional Modeling with experience in crafting conformed dimensions that can be used across Business Units.
   Data Modeling Tool such as Power Designer, Oracle Designer or Erwin
   Understanding of principles and standard methodologies around Data Architecture
   Ability to write SQL to query data (ideally ANSI SQL)
   General working knowledge of Big Data technologies, techniques, and trends
   Nice to haves:
   Experience with Snowflake experience a plus
   Experience with data governance and metadata management tools and standard methodologies a plus
   Required Skills: Strong leadership skills Strong analytic skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Results oriented with demonstrable ability to work independently Good interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing skills

   This team is based out of Boston but the candidate can be located at any Fidelity office.
   Strong preference give to candidates coming from financial services
   What does your team do/what are you trying to accomplish for Fidelity overall? The WI Data Modeling team will enable the Workplace Investments business by designing data models for strategic initiatives and building enterprise data assets that are standards-based, seamlessly deployed, easily utilized and well-documented.
   (For Dev/Engineering roles) What is the tech stack on the team? Team builds the Data Model and use tools like Power Designer and SQL extensively. What project will this role focus on and how does this project impact the organization/Fidelity? Plan and Product MDM What stage of the project are you currently in? Analysis If I were a candidate, what would get me excited about this position (what are the selling points)? This is a ground up opportunity to build a critical MDM platform. Projects like these are done very rarely. Ground up data modeling and analysis work

   Looking for candidates who can match withe the below skills: Looking for a Data Modeler who has worked on projects that involved Financial Services. Experience working in a large company like Fidelity will help. Awareness of Data Architecture and Data Analysis will be a strong plus
