Job Description

An illustrious Washington DC-based IT firm is looking to hire a data architect immediately. The role is fully-remote. You will need to be a citizen of the United States. Expected compensation is 150 to 175K annually, dependent on experience.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data architecture and data models for the data analytics platform including the Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Power BI, and integration with other downstream systems and tools:

• Drive Azure cloud data platform architectural decisions and development standards

• Design and maintain data models

Skills & Qualifications

• At least 7 years of work experience in data management architectures such as data warehouse, data lake, data hub and the supporting processes such as data modeling, data integration, governance, and metadata management

• Strong hands-on experience in Azure data platform including Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Purview, and Power BI Premium
