Data/Business Analyst
The Analyst position is responsible for assisting our internal customers with application/system changes and fixes. The ideal candidate will become a SME for the internally developed applications. This person will help the internal customers create user stories that and convey the technical specifications to the developers. The analyst position may train fellow employees to use our applications more efficiently. The ideal candidate will understand how the data is stored in the database and will be able to query the database to produce reports.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Primary employee facing SME for our internally developed applications.
2. Responsible for triaging help desk service tickets and assigning them to the appropriate person.
3. Providing excellent communications during all types of interactions.
4. Diagnosing issues in the applications and developing adequate work arounds to issues so they do not hinder daily operations of the employees.
5. Identifying / Analyzing reoccurring issues within the applications and providing a proper write up about the issue within the ticketing system so the application development team can fix the issue, including examples of the issues.
6. Develop reporting enhancements to BI Dashboards.
7. Creating SQL queries to be used in report development.
8. From time to time additional tasks and duties may be performed.
Skills Required:
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong problem solving skills
1-2 Years of Microsoft SQL, developing queries.
SSRS experience
Strong Excel skills
Ability and desire to learn programming/development skills along with ancillary IT knowledge in a fluid environment
Strong desire to provide superior customer focused resolutions to problems
Preferred Skills:
QLIK Sense or QLIK View, Software Development Life Cycle, Code Repositories, and C# and CORE or other .Net Frameworks
