Job Description

NVC is seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator who can perform an extensive range of strategic complex technical and/or professional work activities to meet the cloud solutions of servers, Citrix Cloud connectivity, communication, security, and storage needs of the organization. This role delivers innovative, reliable, secure and trouble-free cloud technology experiences to our employees.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Configure and manage the Citrix Cloud service. Hands on management of Citrix Cloud components. Citrix Machine Catalogs, Delivery Groups, and Policy management.
  • Configure the Microsoft Azure Cloud Management service to monitor and manage the services such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Backups, and Security.
  • Windows Servers administration & Active Directory ongoing maintenance and building new servers/systems.
  • Maintain, operate, patch and support new and current cloud-based Windows servers, data backup and recovery systems and data access security.
  • Manage Office 365 administration, provisioning accounts, security posture (Azure AD), and data archival.
  • Manage network firewalls and remote branch offices VPN connectivity and printing.
  • Manage disaster recovery executing and planning.
  • Manage VOIP based phone system.
  • Ensure all files, data storage areas are configured and sized to provide optimal user access within the parameters of the cloud security posture of the organization.
  • Ensure network bandwidth can deliver performance of distributed workloads and internal applications.
  • Support hardware such as Thin Clients Desktops, Laptops, and peripheral administration using centralized software such as Dell Wyse Management software.
  • Troubleshoot escalated issues related to system failures and problems.
  • Establish documenting processes, best practices, policies and procedures.
  • Point of contact to support service users and customers reporting issues, requesting information, access, or other services.
  • Point of contact for all IT third-party vendors and SaaS providers, hardware vendors and negotiate contracts.
  • Ability to prioritize daily work tasks and change as necessary to accommodate business needs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information, both verbally and in writing, to support organizational objectives and interact with all levels of personnel in a positive and cooperative manner.
  • Ability to effectively present and offer innovative ideas and solutions.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Advanced Information Technology systems administration, implementing, and managing cloud solutions.
  • Solid working knowledge of networking and Azure Cloud computing.
  • Solid working knowledge of Citrix Cloud architecture.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, l, Office 365 Administration, ADFS, and cloud environments, power shell & SQL.
  • Advanced experience in managing complex systems projects while limiting downtime and end user impact.
  • Solid understanding of cyber security frameworks.
  • Advanced knowledge of emerging technology.
  • Advanced knowledge of and ability to follow ITIL best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively present and offer innovative ideas, new methods, trends and solutions to the advancement of the organization.
HELP DESK DUTIES
  • Resolve end user issues reported to Help Desk emails/phone calls
  • Configure/Maintain VoIP phones
  • Assist in end user password resets, unlocks in AD
  • Setup New Hire profiles in Citrix, setup Azure AD MFA on their mobile phones
  • Move computer/phone equipment when employee moves desks/offices
  • As Needed – Update Peachtree Software for Accounting
  • As Needed – Install new version of Argus Enterprise software
  • Other miscellaneous issue resolution such as printing, file restoration from archive etc.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
  • Working knowledge of .NET Application development in C#
  • Scrum team management
  • Understanding of web application development architecture and familiarity with JavaScript, Angular and/or Bootstrap CSS framework.
  • SQL database queries and SQL server management
  • VMWare and SAN experience
OTHER FUNCTIONS
  • May require occasional non-traditional work hours, after hour upgrades or maintenance, “on-call” status and/or 24/7 responsiveness.
  • Other duties as required.

Please note: This position primarily works from the office in Centennial, CO.
