Job Description

Sentinel is seeking a motivated individual with cloud services sales experience. With a base salary, bonus plan and un-capped commissions, you have unlimited earning potential. The Cloud Sales Specialist overlays Sentinel’s world-class national sales team and is specifically focused on selling cloud solutions including but not limited to IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, DevOps and more. As the Cloud Sales Specialist, you will be in a position to help lead Sentinel in one of our fastest growing area. You must be a highly technical seller and will be strategic to growing Sentinel’s business, partnerships and driving cloud services revenue and profit growth. You will be partnered with Sentinel’s national sales team and your territory, career and income, will have no limits! This is a full time position based in our Downers Grove, IL location with the ability to work remote.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience, 3+ in cloud services for AWS, Azure and Microsoft SaaS
  • Bachelors of Science degree or higher is required
  • A proven track record of success and working in a sales role and executing a sales plan
  • Applicable cloud sales and solution design certifications required (or obtained rapidly upon start)
  • Present cloud technologies to C level business and IT leadership as well as impress technical teams
  • Work with Sentinel’s vendor partners, understand programs and funding, position and register opportunities that you will drive to close
  • Create and present DevOps and advanced cloud technologies creating a cloud vision for our customers
  • Demonstrate a successful track record of closing business utilizing a consultative selling approach
  • Create a logical scope of work for execution of the cloud strategy plans
  • Be an aggressive self-starter with excellent relationship building, professional networking, vendor management and closing skills
  • Have the ability to create a cloud strategy vision for customers throughout the selling process
  • Be willing to travel nationally to meet with Sentinel teams, customers, vendor contacts and participate in marketing events (national travel is expected to be less than 50%)
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
