As a Data Quality Analyst in the Data Analytics Centre of Excellence, you will understand the product,
business and data processes. You will perform data quality analysis, build quality metrics around
data pipelines and data in the cloud, present them visually help bring value to the data analysis. You
will roll out the guidelines of the governance framework, automate data quality validation rules and
bring out anomalies. You will report to the Engineering Manager. You will work with internal and
external teams from data analytics, analysts, data scientists, engineering and leadership to ensure
metadata management and data governance.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems.
• Evaluate large dataset for quality and accuracy.
• Determine business impact level for data quality issues.
• Work with Data Engineers to correct data quality errors.
• Determine root cause for data quality errors and make recommendations for long-term
solutions. Research and determine scope and complexity of issue to identify steps to fix issue.
• Develop process improvements to enhance overall data quality.
• Develop and execute data clean-up measures.
• Maintain a record of original data and corrected data.
• Ensure adherence to data quality standards.
• Resolve all internal data exceptions in timely and accurate manner.
• Identify areas of improvement to achieve data quality.
• Analyse, query, and manipulate data according to defined business rules and procedures.
Experience
• Expert in using Python, Shell scripting languages.
• Expert in SQL and NoSQL with experience in AWS Athena/Presto and Elasticsearch, Druid with
data analytics background
• Experience in designing developing data quality automation and executing test plans.
• Experience Developing Test Automation Tools for Data Quality Assessment for ETLs, Datalake
• Familiar with standard Quality Assurance and development tools.
• Experience in cloud computing and working with AWS services (S3, Athena, RDS, DynamoDB,
EC2, Elasticsearch)
• Experience in creating dashboards for data quality measurements with KPIs
• Experience in Tableau Apache Superset is an advantage.
