Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Big Data Developer with strong Java, Spark, and Scala experience for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in New York, NY. Will join a critical group (Treasury Capital Liquidity) responsible fordelivering many critical initiatives including Basel III, PRA compliance, and US regulatory requirement. Financial services experience is ideal, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within technology environments
• Collaboration with teams to align data sources and establishcommon processes between businesses.
• Continually align with the business, optimizing its operating model, leveraging shared global resources and services.
• Help develop MDL in F1 platform

RequiredSkills:

• Big Data experience.
• Must have Spark and Scala experience.
• Java 8+
• Oracle PL/SQL
• Development in Unix Linux Environment
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
• Ability to utilize programming methodologies and languages
• Efficient coding i.e. adhering to coding standards, procedures and techniques
• Effective analysis of new and existing applications and platforms
• Clear communication and documentation of technical specifications
