BCI-IT, Inc. has an immediate opening for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join our client's team in Jersey City, NJ. **Position can be remote for the present time, but the preference is to have someone either presently located close to office or who can relocate to the Jersey City office in the near future, with the ability to come in as needed once the office reopens. We are looking to fill 1 position for a full-time contract, and client is open to a contract to perm conversion. The DevOps Engineer should have 3-5 years of experience.

We are looking for proven hands-on experience and someone who can multi-task. Team supports a large complex data environment, and the DevOps Engineer will provide the following high-level support:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Primarily will be supporting our Linux & Windows systems in AWS, supporting infrastructure for .NET applications. Extensive Windows administration experience is not needed but MUST be willing to learn and work on Windows and must have practical hands-on experience with AWS in a professional, work environment.
• To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate strong skills in:
• AWS – EC2, Cloud Formation, Lambda, EBS, IAM, Route 53, S3, Dynamo DB
• Experience with Linux and Docker
• CI/CD tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins (Bamboo preferred)
• Configuration Management tools such as Chef or Ansible (Chef preferred)
• Deployment tool such as Octopus Deploy (Octopus preferred)
• Monitoring tools such as New Relic or Dynatrace (New Relic preferred)
• Python and basic coding/scripting skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail a must
