Role : Android Developer

Location : Basking Ridge-NJ (Onsite from Day1 onwards)

Duration: Long Term

Description

As part of the Device Technology team, you will work on new technologies and find ways to meet our customers' needs and make it easy for them to do business with us. You will use your expertise to solve complex problems and find unique solutions. 4+ years with good knowledge of testing and developing mobile apps using android/java.
Bachelor's degree (Four year degree) in Engineering, preferably Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, Android Studio, Continuous integrations, Gradle builds.
Experienced in Writing test plans, executing test cases, debug issues for Mobile Android App Development.
Be adept at rapid android and java base prototyping using Android Studio for mobile apps. Basic understanding of Android framework and Android modules (Activity, Service, IPC, ContentProvider etc) in order to support prototype development
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Familiarity with continuous integration.
Additional Test skill support includes below
" Automation testing using any of these tools like Espresso, robotium, Appium, Calabash etc.
" Hands on experience in writing Android POC application (proof Of Concept)
" Experience working with cross functional teams
" Agile
" Regression testing
" Test script upgrades
" Development of test strategies and plans
" Test cases documentation
" Scripting experience - Python, Java etc
