Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

 

We are looking to hire a talented PHP developer to manage our existing application and ensure a seamless interchange of data between the server and our users. As a PHP developer, he will be responsible for developing and coding all server-side logic. To ensure good as a PHP developer, he should have in-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, understanding of MVC designs, and working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3. Ultimately, a top-level PHP Developer can design and build efficient PHP modules while seamlessly integrating front-end technologies.

 

Key Responsibility Area (KRA):

  • Should have experience in PHP with a strong hand in Core PHP, MVC frameworks,
  • Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API.
  • Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support
  • Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale
  • Should be having good experience with MySQL database, Database Management, and SQL Queries.
  • Strong grasp in web development open source: CSS, XHTML, PHP5, MySql, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Deciding and implementing underlying technology stacks.
  • Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
  • Integrating data from various back-end services and databases.
  • Gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
  • Creating website layout/user interfaces following HTML/CSS best practices.
  • Take ownership of all aspects of PHP and JS applications, including code quality, technology and stack, testing, performance and scaling.
  • Understanding requirements & functional specifications.
  • Candidate must be able to send and receive audio / video calls to the client, gather requirement, provide quotes and can make project schedule.
  • Expert knowledge of PHP OOPs concept is a MUST.
  • Expertise in integrations using REST platform.
  • One should be technically sound and self-motivated to learn and implement new technologies.

Desired Technical/ Functional Competencies

 

  • 4+ Years of experience in Core PHP & MySQL & MongoDB with OOP concepts
  • 4+ Years of experience in Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS, JSON, Angular JS
  • Experience in Laravel / CakePHP / CodeIgniter / Symfony / Yii .
  • Knowledge of Excel VBA will be a big plus but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of GIT / SVN .
  • Knowledge of Linux / AWS server.
  • Experience in WordPress / Joomla / Mangento or any other CMS will be big plus.
