Technical lead- Hadoop

• 8-10 years ETL experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and enterprise BI ETL development (Informatica, IBM DataStage, Oracle Data Integrator, etc.).
• 6-8 years of solid experience working with Cloudera Hadoop.
• Hands on with coding in Spark/Hive/Scala/Sqoop.
• 3-5 years experience with Agile methodologies in a business intelligence or data modeling / warehouse context (e.g. Kimball methodology).
• Expert level in UNIX and Windows based BI platforms
• Expert in using SQL in a DB2, Oracle or SQL Server shop. The platform is not important.
• Ability to understand the technical requirements and nuances in the support projects with various technologies involved
• Ability to mentor colleagues in the team
• Collaboration with Stakeholders from different applications
• Strong understanding of support ticket process and managing multiple projects support
• Strong understanding of backlog grooming
• Able to work on assigned tasks independently and also handle queries & guide fellow team members
• Able to handle outages & co-ordinate with multiple owners to resolve issues
• Good Analytical Skills & problem solving skills
• Ability to Work in shifts and effectively in a team
• Have the ability to escalate issues with a view to bringing about a win-win resolution
• Good written & spoken communication skills;
• Should be able to drive any legacy project shutdown working with different stakeholders
