The Insurance Claims Analytics Center of Excellence at Verisk is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. You will work closely with a team of Developers and Data Scientists in India and the United States to develop production-grade machine learning model implementations, APIs, and applications in which AI is embedded.
No specialized AI or Data Science knowledge is required as we’re seeking an experienced Python developer to build quality software and bring in software engineering best practices. However, experience working with Python-based AI libraries for model implementation and deployment is greatly valued.

Qualifications
5-9 years of development experience
Effective verbal, written and digital communication with teams spread around the world.
Ability to quickly understand requirements and deliver with minimal need for oversight and supervision during the working day.
Self-motivated and problem-solving attitude (goals/features code)
Prior Software development experience building highly scalable web applications and APIs required.
Python development experience is required
Full-stack experience is ideal
Experience with AWS Services (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, SQS, ECS, EKS etc.) and AWS SDKs/CLI required
Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle, best practices and Agile Software Development
Experience with DevOps including CI/CD
Ability to write effective test cases, unit testing
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain mid-level to complex applications
Demonstrated ability to produce technical specifications, design and documentation
Ability to learn and adapt new technologies
Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) a plus
