Job Description

 

 

1. Expertise in database architecture and preparing high-level and low-level database designing for deployment/ installation of oracle database.

2. Expertise in preparation of migration plans and approaches for database migration within the same platform and cross-platform.

3. Expertise in database installation, configuration, migration, upgrade and patching.

4. Expertise in Oracle ASM, creating ASM Disks, Adding/deleting ASM Disks to ASM disk group, migration from file system to ASM and vice versa, and ASM instance tuning.

5. Expertise in Oracle RAC, node addition, node deletion, action scripting, and migration from standalone to RAC and vice versa.

6. Expertise in database replication using storage bases replication and Oracle Data Guard (about zero and zero data loss).

7. Strong hands-on experience in Dataguard monitoring and administration. Expertise in performing database DR Drill (Switchover and Switchback).

8. Good experience in understanding customer requirements and providing solutions.

9. Have good skills in converting business problems into technical solutions.

10. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain effective working relationships.

11. Oracle RAC database Patching and upgrade

12. Oracle database proactive performance review

13. Oracle OEM 12C configuration and information publisher reports

14. Performing ongoing tuning of the database instances.

15. Experience creating and maintaining all databases required for production, development, testing and education usage.

16. Experience in Installation, Migration and implemented new features.

17. Configured the TDE Transparent Data Encryption ( Adv. Database Security Feature ).

18. Expert in ORACLE Database Administration, including planning/implementing backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and without RMAN 19. L1 knowledge of SQL Server(Microsft) clustering and replication.
