Project brief

There is an existing ever evolving LMS: Learning management system SaaS and a library of SCORM and AICC compliant e-courses (HTML 5) that are hosted in the LMS in Azure and AWS IaaS and PaaS mix.

In addition to enhancing LMS and multi-form factor responsive courseware framework new joinee will be developing customer / subscriber management portal with tight integration with existing cloud solutions exchanging data with each other and capturing learners data for building analytics.

There is a need to re-architect existing solutions to take full advantage of Azure PaaS. It will be a combination of app services - micro-services – function apps – Web API’s – SQL Server and Microsoft Cosmos DB and so on.

Applicant must have

• extensive experience in web-programing and cloud environment
• good exposure to Azure PaaS and IaaS and how to design SaaS
• Azure DevOps
• builds / automation / continuous – development, integration and deployment Agile practice
• user stories / sprints / iterations
  Applicant must be good in English communication (written and spoken)

Must be hands-on in the follow tech stack

• - Azure functions, App Services, micro-services
• - .Net Core Web API, Azure CDN
• - .Net Core MVC , Entity Framework
• - HTML5 CSS3 / JQuery / Java Script / Boot Strap
• - Deployment on Azure
• - Design patterns / Web Security In addition to being hands on developer Job will involve
• - frequent interaction with client technical team based out in California – Philadelphia – Chicago for scope clarification on each task
• - designing and developing various modules in the product life cycle
• - creating technical documents (Use Case / User Stories / Class diagrams)
• - spring planning / estimating stories in a sprints
• - unit testing of various modules in the platform
• - writing unit test cases and developing Unit Test stubs
• - generating build and deploying on staging environment
