We are looking for a senior Web Developer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites and other related web development efforts for our company and clients. You will be working alongside a team of other developers spanned across geographical regions in creating, maintaining, and updating our websites and other digital web content.

In order for you to succeed in this role, you will need to be proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP and have solid knowledge and experience in programming languages applications including Python, Anaconda and/or PyCharm.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine website backups to cloud repositories for retention and recovery.
• Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
• Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
• Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
• Directing or performing Website updates.
• Editing, writing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.
• Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
• Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
• Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
• Perform routine site maintenance as required, eg. PHP Version update, SSL Renewal, Plugin-Updates as needed, license renewals, synchronization between Production and Staging environments, etc.
• Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
• Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.

Technical Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Web development or related field, or relevant experience.
• Proficient in 2 or more of the following Programming Languages: PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Powershell.
• Proficient in MySQL.
• Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications and development tools: cPanel, WHM, Apache, MySQL, Python, Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Drupal, Joomla, Elementor, WPBakery, Visual Composer, Gutenburg, Ruby on Rails, Django
• Understanding of Agile Frameworks: SCRUM
• Understanding of DevOps practices
• Understanding of SDLC
