Desired Qualities of the SQL Developer:

• An individual will be involved in Microsoft SQL Server database designing, sql queries and SSIS package development or enhancement in existing solution
• Should able to work on automation of SSIS package, optimization of queries & support the existing projects
• Self-sufficient and strong communication skills (must be able to work with external groups/departments)
• Inquisitive to work on cloud hosted database and cloud data integration.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing data security whilst also preparing documentations for database applications
• Plan, coordinate, develop and support ETL processes including architecting table structure, building ETL process, documentation, and long-term preparedness
• Responsible for create SQL queries that integrate with other applications and create scripts, functions, triggers and procedures that support application development
• Responsible for tests databases and ETL(SSIS) solution, performs bug fixes, fixes any issues related to performance as well as provides solutions for corrective measures to be put into place
• Responsible for document steps needed to migrate database objects between various environments including Development, UAT, Staging, and Production
• Responsible for to provide authorization for databases, provide memory management for systems and handle regular procedures like database backup, recovery, upgrade.

Required:

• 4+ years extensive experience in require technologies: SSIS(ETL) and MS SQL Server
• Database Development
• Extensive experience in SSIS advanced component is required (transformation objects in data flow)
• Extensive experience in create SQL queries that integrate with other applications and create scripts, functions, triggers and procedures that support application development
• Extensive experience in determine the most effective way to increase performance including server configuration changes, or index/query changes
• Experience in regular database management process like database backup, restore, designing jobs to tune application database.
• Should have ability in troubleshoot complex issues, problem solving and analytical, time management, written and communication skills, decision making, interpersonal relationship skills
• Should have strong inter-personal, verbal and written communication skills and experience with communicating with teams across the globe
