Senior Software Engineer (SRE - Product Support)

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 4 - 7 years

Mandatory Qualification :

- Should be part of L1, L2 support in SRE roles

- Any programming language like Python, Ruby, Pearl, Bash, etc.

- Exposure to large-scale systems and systems architecture

- Experience in building and maintaining product deployments or maintaining production systems

- UnixLinux systems

- RDBMS concepts MYSQL, PostgreSQL.

- Infra experience is a plus

Responsibilities :

- Maintenance and support of multiple Product deployments running in different client environments. Automation of all installations, configurations, and troubleshooting

- Developing an automated monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations, alerts, etc.

- Work closely with productproject teams to ensure that product implementations are stable. Participate in stakeholder management

- Drive ongoing improvements and efficiencies in technology and operational practices to make our distributed systemsproducts more reliable

- Engage in capacity planning, software performance analysis, and system tuning

Key Requirements and Qualifications:

- B.E. B.Tech degree in one of the following departments (i) Computer Science, (ii) Information Sciences, (iii) Electrical Engineering, (iv) Electronics - or equivalent.

- 4 - 6 years of codingscripting experience in any programming language like Python, Ruby, Pearl, Bash, etc.

- Exposure to large-scale systems and systems architecture, and experience in maintaining product deployments or maintaining product implementations (ex. Maintaining Oracle Financials, SAP)

- Understanding of Unix Linux systems, RDBMS, and networking concepts

- Experience in popular DevOps tools like Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Containers, CICD pipelines, etc. Proven record of debugging application, infra, Linux, and network logs
