Roles and Responsibilities

• Learning Reporting tool and building simple and complex Dashboards.
• Respond to technical emergencies outside of normal working hours as needed.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate problems and failures with databases and related server applications.
• Strong knowledge of software development processes and best practices.
• Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with source code control systems such as Visual Studio Team Services.
• Ability to analyze and resolve moderate to complex production issues, perform root cause analysis and define approach and guidelines as required to resolve issues.
• Demonstrated success of working independently, with a proven track record of excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to develop rapid prototypes and proof of concepts for evaluation of new reporting strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Committed team player, with positive winning attitude.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

• 3-6 years of experience with strong emphasis on relational database.
• Candidate must be proficient in relational databases PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL server.
• Should have knowledge of NO SQl databases as well (e.g MongoDB)
• Knowledge of selected programming languages (e.g. Python, C#) and the Java/J2EE platform or Microsoft Platform (Dot net Core)
• Should be involved or have knowledge in building the RESTful APIs.
• Should have knowledge of lightweight data-interchange format like JSON, XML.
• Should have knowledge of various API profiling tools like POSTMAN.
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Windows etc.)
• Bachelors degree in MIS, Engineering, Computer Science or related technical degree.

Desirable Skills

• Worked on any reporting tool, desirably Superset.
• Knowledge of Source Controls like git, TFS etc.
• Knowledge of AWS RDS service (Relational Database).
• Using DBeaver for AWS RDS service.
