• Be responsible for designing and developing test and measurement automation software, primarily for the semiconductor domain. The engineer will engage directly with global semiconductor majors.
• Interface with customers to understand user requirements, generate specifications, design the software, interface with remote development teams, integrate the software, validate and deliver the software, for various design validation or production test automation applications

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering 
• 3-5 years of programming experience in Python
• Excellent design / debugging abilities
• Good understanding of test and measurement fundamentals
• Good understanding of software design principles
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Must be detail-oriented; be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects

Preferred skills/experience :

• Ability to debug electronic hardware and/or read electrical schematics
• Exposure to methods of characterizing and testing semiconductor devices
• C programming experience
• Experience with configuration management tools such as SVN and Perforce
• Experience in working with remote development teams
• LabView and TestStand development experience is a plus 
• CLD or CLA certification is a plus
• NI STS experience is a plus

Job Location

The position will be based in Bangalore or Coimbatore and may involve occasional travel to other locations.
