Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop new software products and maintain Core application, databases and services.
• Write, analyze, review and rewrite program applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic; provide support during documentation and deployment.
• On-time deliver scalable and testable enterprise level solutions to meet business needs.
• Diagnose software related problems and make improvements.
• Develop required specifications for problems of all complexity levels.
• Analyze, resolve and document solutions to complex technical problems related to software development. 
• Work to identify and resolve likely points of failure in hardware, software, processes or roles related to delivering information technology services to internal and external clients.
• Work with technical peers to create or modify architecture, framework, and processes to support software development needs.
• Participate on the on-call rotation schedule
• Ensure applications built are accurate, high quality and timely.
• Provide input and suggests areas for application ecosystems improvement.
• Encourage and practice cutting edge technology solutions to increase work efficiency, reduce inaccuracy, and improve applications and team performance.

• Expertise in the following:   Classic ASP, C# .NET, VB .NET, Microsoft SQL Server with excellent SQL Proc experience; Web APIs, .NET Core,  Microsoft Queues, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, IVR, SSO, ADO, Scrum/Agile practices, IIS, [Plus: Azure & Mobile Applications Development]
• Relational database modeling, specifically with SQL Server
• Is a widely acknowledged subject matter expert in several key areas of critical technology to the software development team. (I.E. web front-ends, databases, data warehousing, JavaScript, APIs, Single Sign On, Security, IIS, ASP.Net)
• Proven history of developing scalable, testable applications
• Ability to balance business and technical objectives when making decisions
• Ability to balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Mentoring junior programming staff
• Have a positive, can-do attitude
• Familiarity with AWS
• Installation and deployment 
• Experience with automated builds and deployment 

Ability to:

• Deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrate effective troubleshooting with timely resolutions
• Perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

• Requires Bachelors degree Computer Science related field or equivalent.
• Requires minimum 10 to 15 (preferably 15) years of related work or industry related experience.
