Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and lead Data Analytics team in Chennai.
• To implement and support JEs worldwide smart factories, develop Cloud data & ML platforms, deliver workflow and automation applications, and generate business insights for user teams on a global scale.
• Will be responsible for solution design, development, roll-out and support of end-to-end data analytics & workflow applications.
• Provide guidance as JE migrates the existing data warehouse, pipelines and data platform to the latest Cloud technology with good scalability and global collaboration taskforce.
• Provide leadership and direction on technical and business process decisions and mentor the team in continuous development of the global data/ML platforms.
• Provide guidance to the team on development and operation for web application, approval workflows, robotic processing automation, finance consolidation and planning systems.
• Closely work with the global Data Analytics management team and development team in collaboration to define and deliver the best technical solutions that meets the overall requirements of our user community.
• This position will work under the direction of the IT Dev/Ops Director in Chennai.

Skills and Requirement

• Master degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines.
• 7+ years of experience in information technology with at least 5 years in big data analytics / AI / data engineering / application development area at regional level, preferred in manufacturing, engineering or industrial domain (international experience is preferred).
• Ability to work with senior managements, business leaders and engineers to understand business objectives and incorporate these into data or application solutions, strategy and implementation.
• Proven track record in leading technical teams to deliver data engineering, ETL/ELT, data lake, data warehouse and workflow application projects successfully.
• Deep understanding of business processes in finance, supply chain, product R&D, process engineering and quality will definitely be an advantage.
• Possess solid project management skills.
• Strong consultation and communication skills.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English is preferred.
