Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Position Overview:
Would you like to work in a fast-paced environment where your technical abilities will be challenged on a day-to-day basis? If so, our Machine Learning Engineering team is looking for highly motivated, detail-oriented, technical savvy, energetic developers who like to think outside the box and want to work in a team with many exciting responsibilities which includes to help deploy next generation ML powered distributed application & services to support business objectives. The position also plays a critical role in bridging the gap between software engineering and Data scientists/researchers.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Data engineers, Data scientists/researchers on complex business requirements to deploy ML powered application and services at scale on Cloud.
Write production-level code in python and participate in code review
Contribute to implementing best practices to enhance existing machine learning infrastructure & MLOps processes.
Integrate ML model training, inferencing into Data pipelines.
Data Analysis - Explore and visualize data to gain an understanding of it
Define & implement data validation strategies, feature engineering on a given dataset
Work in complex projects with multiple team members using Agile methodology.
Desired skills & qualifications
10+ years of recent experience as python developer building scalable web applications & services
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related engineering field
Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong SQL knowledge.
Excellent hands-on coding skills on Python(required), Scala(optional)
Experienced in creating RESTful services in python using Flask/Django/Falcon or similar framework.
Strong knowledge of GitLab & CI/CD processes
Familiarity with Linux.
Exploring and visualizing data to gain an understanding of it using python libraries.
Demonstrable experience in Large scale processing framework like pyspark
Experience of deploying application & services at scale on public cloud environments like AWS or GCP
