Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support all aspects of assigned server infrastructure, operating systems, and software according to corporate standards and best practices.
• Maintain and monitor existing business services ecosystem, providing support for server and user administration, security administration, data back up and clean up.
• Collaboratively support and manage one or more of the following technologies: Active Directory, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Threat Management Gateway (TMG).
• Lead the development of cloud engineering and migration strategy Responsible for gathering system requirements, working together with application architects, engineering teams and owners.
• Plan and design infrastructure for cloud-based applications, along with implementinggeographically redundant services on internal and public cloud infrastructure.
• Research and recommend standard cloud services offerings, implementing processes and standards for optimal use of cloud service provider offerings.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enable applications to run on internal or Cloud infrastructure.
• Support security measures and standards for cloud, server and end-user environments.
• Unwavering commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
• Communicate in both technical and non-technical capacities.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities in support of a 24 x 7 production environment.
• Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competencies.

Specific Skills and Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of Linux/UNIXOperating Systems and application stacks
• Expert knowledge of the AWS cloud computing platform
• Expert knowledge of server hardware and software, including knowledge of Linux and Unix server and services
• Expert knowledge with Active Directory function, administration and policy controls
• Working knowledge of server and client software including knowledge of Windows and the O365 Suite of products
• Working knowledge of common database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL, and related datastores
• Working knowledge of Microsoft cloud stack, including Azure and Office365 Cloud Suite
• Proficient in scripting (Python, shell, bash, etc.); able to generate scripts and templates required for the automatic provisioning of resources
• Working knowledge of network and telecom hardware, software and technologies.
• Working knowledge Microsoft server and services, including: DNS, DHCP, WSUS, SCCM, SCOM, File and Print Services
• Working knowledge of PC and server hardware and software
• Working knowledge of server technologies
• Working knowledge of virtualization technology
• Working knowledge of compliance initiatives

• Ability to lift, move, and adjust computer and peripheral equipment, up to 75 lbs.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or information technology or related experience.
• 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms
• AWS Solutions ArchitectCertification; Azure or Google certification a plus.
• Understanding of, and experience with, the five pillars of a well-architected frameworks.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience within Information Technology.
