Job Description
Were looking for and experienced JavaScript software developer to join our growing company. Pippin is a real estate tech startup specializing in title services in the US. Through our advanced technology, we help insurance companies, property developers, governments, and financial institutions to quickly and easily produce title documents for residential and commercial properties.
By joining our team, you will assist in developing Pippins proprietary software platform. You will get the opportunity to work on cutting edge JavaScript technologies, and take ownership of client-facing software applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain JavaScript based applications
- Implement new user facing features
- Build reusable components for ensuring consistency across Pippin’s user interface
- Manage integrations with 3rd party APIs
- Ensure the quality, responsiveness, and performance of Pippin’s web applications
- Collaborate with other software developers and QA personnel
Must Have Skills
- 5+ Years of experience with JavaScript
- Good understanding of ES6 (ECMAScript 2015) and later programming concepts
- Extensive experience with HTML and CSS
- Good understanding of asynchronous and functional programming
- Extensive experience with a recent frontend library or framework (Angular, React, Vue, etc.)
- Basic experience with NodeJS
- Understanding of authentication, APIs, and RESTFul services
- Code version control experience with Git
Desired Skills (not required)
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS, SCSS, LESS)
- Experience with implementing web animations using a JavaScript library such as Anime.JS
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for agile project management
- Advanced experience with NodeJS
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility issues
