Tap Global Group’s rapidly growing data science team is in need of a Senior Data Scientist with an extensive deep learning background. This leader will work cross-functionally across teams and with key stakeholders to develop and execute the company’s AI strategy and systems for NLP projects.

Leverage unique medical datasets to assist the company’s growing AI initiatives, specifically focused on creating, extending, and validating Natural Language Processing Algorithms

Identify new opportunities for using state-of-the-art machine learning analytics, language understanding, and automated question answering systems

Consult with internal and external teams as well as clinical partners to define business needs and advise upon the best language understanding and machine learning data analytics strategies

Push for cutting-edge means of NLU and NLP implementation that advance the company’s clinical research plans

Collaborate with data scientists and the engineering teams to execute end to end development and production of text understanding

Act as a technical lead on projects and serve as a mentor for junior members of a fast-growing DS team

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Expertise working hands-on as a Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, or Research Scientist

Extensive understanding and use of advanced NLP techniques – largely transformers, self-supervised learning, meta- and-multi-task learning

Resounding ability to collaborate both cross-functionally and deliver as an individual project contributor

Strong business acumen abilities in order to communicate complex project ideas and results to non-technical audiences

Skilled with applied programming - Python, C, C++, PyTorch, Keras +TensorFlow, etc.

Ph.D./MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, AI, or equivalent preferred
