Job Description:
Product support engineers handle technical requests filed by end customers of a companys product or system. Their primary responsibility is troubleshooting and resolving errors, and throughout their work they must constantly log details for later reports and to provide with updates. When not fixing issues, they assist other engineers by contributing to product development and improving processes.
What do you need to have :
1. Experience working with MySQL, MONGO or any database and writing simple queries to get
data for debugging issues.
2. Being able to creatively come up with solutions for various problems.
3. An in-depth understanding of the different products.
4. Working Knowledge on with any of the languages like JAVA, Python, PHP.
5. Excellent analytical and logical thinking.
6. Quick troubleshooting and diagnosing skills.
7. Problem-solving and debugging skills.
8. Working knowledge of any programming language to DEBUG CODE
9. Web-application / MOBILE debugging skills
10. Ability to access/understand logs / UNIX
11. Ability to run the tests (atleast) to reproduce subjected scenarios
12. Preferred to have ITIL certification and knowledge.
13. Experience in Atlassian Tool ( such as JIRA and Confluence)
14. Experience with ticket triage and Root Cause Analysis
15. Willingness to work on a rotating shift basis as needed
