We are looking for a Joomla Web Developer to build high-performance, robust and scalable UI components. This is a Work from home opportunity.

Developer Requirements:

You must have extensive experience in Joomla and have implemented complex, responsive web designs, with a thorough understanding of cross-browser implementation and SEO principles. Good knowledge of W3C standards, Apache webserver configurations, and a keen interest in the latest web technologies is required as well. PHP framework such as code ignitor, Laravel are preferred.

This is a position, suitable for highly independent, proactive individuals who love working both in a team and on their own, able to organise themselves and manage deadlines with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Validate requirements and system design
• Developing scalable user-facing elements for cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility
• Integrating visually appealing web pages or interfaces
• Creating, editing or modifying templates for a CMS or web development framework
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable modules

Essential Joomla requirements:

You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the following aspects of Joomla.

• Joomla Administration
• Creating components
• Creating modules
• Creating plugins
• Creating a theme
• Code Optimization

Expert level skills required in:

• HTML5
• CSS3 - Expert in server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and AJAX
• Responsive Design (Mobile-first, and progressive enhancement)
• Joomla CMS
• PHP
• MVC framework
• Expert in LAMP (Linux, Apache, Mysql and PHP)

Additional skills preferred:

• Laravel/Codeignitor or similar
• MySQL
• Restful API's
• JSON
• OOPs concepts
• Good written and oral English communication skills are essential, as we have our team all over the globe and English is the common language.
