The Job

You will be responsible for :

• Developing new features and maintaining the SDK.
• Working closely with product management to understand requirements and converting them into easily understandable documentation.
• Reviewing code and contributing towards the continuous improvement of the quality and process.
• Maintaining development practices, writing clean, modular and self-sustaining code, with repeatable quality and predictability.
• Writing code without using a 3rd party library as much as possible.
• Translating product requirements into high-quality code.
• Optimising code for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Testing the features being developed.
• Writing test cases for every new feature.

The Profile

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, is required
• You have a thorough understanding of typescript, along with experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• You have familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript as well as RESTful APIs and SDK development
• You possess experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• You have knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• You have a knack for bench marking and optimization
• You are well-versed with code versioning
• You are able to work effectively in a team environment
• You are highly adaptable and can work in changing environments
