Position Overview & Priorities

We are looking for a great Javascript developer. Your primary focus will be maintaining and adding new features in the Software Development Kit (SDK). You will ensure that the overall application is robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving and quality product is important.

Primary responsibility would be:

• Responsible for developing new features and maintaining the SDK.
• Work closely with product management to understand requirements and convert them into easily understandable documentation.
• Peer reviews for code.
• Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the quality and process.
• Maintain development practices, writing clean, modular and self-sustaining code, with repeatable quality and predictability.
• Writing code without using a 3rd party library as much as possible.
• Translating product requirement into high quality code.
• Optimizing code for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Testing the features being developed.
• Writing test cases for every new feature.

Work Location 
We operate on a Hybrid model – you choose where you work from! Remotely or from our offices. Currently our talent is spread across 14 different cities globally.

Prioritized Experiences and Capabilities

• Prioritized Experiences and Capabilities
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of typescript
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and SDK development
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• A knack for bench marking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning
