Project:

This position is for a dynamic Java Developer for Pune, with experience in Java technologies and strong interpersonal skills. The project is with an International Swiss Bank, and the individual will provide design and development services in a fast-paced and innovative working environment.

Mandatory Skills:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field
• 8+ years of work experience
• Strong technical skills in the following areas:

- Hands-on Java Developer skills

- Java 1.8 and J2EE technologies

- Restful webservices

- JPA framework

- Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate

- Microservices Architecture

- JavaScript / CSS / HTML 5

- Demonstrable Java testing skills (e.g. JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, Karate)

- Oracle, MySQL

• Hands on experience with Big data technologies with at least 3 of the following: Hadoop(preferably Cloudera distribution), HDFS, MapReduce, Spark, Hive, Impala, Parquet, Sqoop.
• Experience, ideally as part of a fast-paced agile delivery environment

Good To have Skills:

• UI Technology, ideally Angular 2.x or later versions
• Experience with DevOps technologies / methodologies
• Experience in the Banking Industry
