Automation Engineer

Looking for a senior automation engineer for working on a QA automation project. This involves testing application web interface, APIs, integrations and performance. One of the major requirements is to automate the overall testing process using different test automation frameworks / tools.

Responsibilities

• Application Testing
• Create testcases to identify software testing
• Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
• Document results of tests for the software development team
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
• Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance
• Testing includes UI Testing, API Testing, regression testing, integration testing, etc.
• Automation
• Help in identifying and recommending right frameworks / tools for the automation testing
• Provide recommendation on integrating automated testing in different phases of application development
• Create automated test scenarios via API testing
• Must know programming language Javascript / Typescript
• Familiarity with cucumber.js and Jest frameworks
• API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, Katalon) for automated checks
• Understanding of IDEs for writing code (VSCode/IntelliJ IDEA/Notepad++)

Good to have

• Telephony application / contact center application experience: WebRTC
• Understanding of basic node.js concepts
• Strong experience on development
• Project management software (Jira)
• Understanding of Jenkins or any other CI/CD tool
• Understanding of common computer languages required for different automation testing technologies: Python, Java, Ruby, ++, Perl, PHP, C#, etc. is an addonponsibilities
