Web Developer is responsible for the coding, design and layout of a website according to a company's specifications. As the role takes into consideration user experience and function, a certain level of both graphic design and computer programming is necessary.
Key Skills:
• Shopify expert
• Thorough functional knowledge and coding experience
• Basic knowledge of UI Design/SEO/SEM/ORM
• Ability to multitask with strict time constraints, budgets and business goals
• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
• Researching different software programs, maintaining software documentation
• Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down
• Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website/Traffic/Conversion
• Product upload & Inventory management
• Good understanding of Best practises that competition follows and introduce necessary changes in our web design.
Job Description & Requirement
• Expert in Shopify with good experience in adding custom functionality to the Shopify Platform/Custom Shopify Theme Development, Upload Products, Add Product, Price/Description, Integrate Payment Gateways etc.
• Server architecture
• Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript, JQuery, E-Commerce, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Multimedia Content Development, API's
• Experience with database systems such as SQL and Oracle
• You will also design the overall architecture of the web application and evolve it to ensure maximum performance and stability.
• Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms (such as mobile vs, desktop), and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Data migration, transformation, and scripting
• Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
• Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications and digital media.
• Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
• Editing, writing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.
• Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
• Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.
• Identifying problems uncovered feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
• Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
• Product upload & Inventory management
• Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
• Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.
