Roles and Responsibilities

NECESSARY EXPERIENCES:

• Strong frontend experience including:

- Thorough understanding of the and r React.js framework

- CSS, HTML, and friends

- Responsive design

- Good understanding of the frontend dev ecosystem

- Functional testing for front-ends

• Strong Python experience including:

- Web application frameworks such as Flask

- pymongo / Mongoengine

- Testing (unit, functional, integrated)

- Python ecosystem

- Tooling development experience

• Experience developing GraphQL APIs, or other strong API development experience
• Proficiency with Git for revision control
• Familiarity with Linux and/or *nix systems (such as Mac OSX)
• Knowledge of Angular js would be an additive advantage

Desired Candidate Profile

• Track record of finishing and shipping Web Development projects
• Bootcamp or CS Degree, with 2-4 years of professional experience working as a Web Developer
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle methodologies
• Experience working with Agile/SCRUM, writing user stories, and following the development process through user story acceptance
• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• A self-motivated, highly organized individual able to work in a collaborative, team environment
