Peoples Processing/Privo Tech Corp is looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join its existing development team as it grows. The ideal candidate is a divergent thinker who understands industry best practices and has hands-on experience into design, development, and implementation of various software products.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in an agile environment and have the ability to take the wheel when necessary.

Job description
Duties & Responsibilities

• An Agile developer, focusing on sustainable development by exercising good estimation, effective branching strategies for managing code, automated testing to protect quality, and continuous deployment to get fast feedback from users.

• Integrate software components and third-party programs. Having good understanding of Front-End framework, and its integration with Back-end.

• Drive/Actively participate in design discussions around architecture and business requirements with Business Analysts, Product Manager and Business Owners. Own a fairly undefined/ unbounded problem and drive the team towards a scalable design & solution.

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing application. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement, across product, architecture and implementation aimed at enhancing system performance.

• Prepare detailed design document including Class diagram, sequence diagram, interface specification, persistence model, screen mock-ups where required.

• Lead the development of architecture/solution prototypes and technology evaluation.

• Perform code reviews of components & modules with recommendation around best coding practices.

• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

• Resolving technical issues of the Product implementation.

• Assist Operations / Support team in resolving Production Issues.

Qualification & Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3 years experience as a Software Engineer or Equivalent
• Experience of Front-End development and tools is preferred especially Angular 8
• Development knowledge of workflow related system is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Java, Multithreading and demonstrate good coding practices.
• Hands on experience in Web-Services (Soap/Rest) (must have)
• Good knowledge of Ant/Maven/ Gradle scripts (must have)
• Good knowledge of web servers.
• Hands on experience working on Service Oriented Architecture/Microservices.
• Good Understanding of Design Patterns.
• Hands on experience in any of Hibernate, MySQL/ NoSQL (nice to have).
• Good knowledge of Product Engineering Processes.
