Role:

1. Working in a team, collaborate with other engineers, UX designers, and product teams to design and build responsive web application features.
2. Completely own the web application UI end to end; through design, development, testing, launch and post launch support.
3. Highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (Angular/React.js Prototype, Backbone), HTML and CSS
4. Translate requirements and/or mock-ups/wireframes into fully functioning features.
5. Build performant, scalable, secure, and reliable web apps.
6. Write high quality, clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews.
7. Understand customer need and innovate building new products and features using latest tools and technologies.
8. Rapid prototyping and presenting conceptual design/working prototypes to leadership.

Qualifications:

1. 1+ years experience building complex pixel perfect web applications in a frontend developer role utilizing latest UI dev frameworks.
2. Proficiency in Javascript and HTML/CSS; React/Redux, Webpack. Designing and coding the web application, ensuring high quality and performance of the application, fixing application bugs, and maintaining the code.
3. Experience building single page applications with multiple components
4. Experience with concepts such as web extensions, web notifications, Payment gateways integration, messaging applications, and shopping carts.
5. Good to have experience or knowledge of scripting languages like NodeJS
6. Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN.
7. Understanding of software design principles and computer science fundamentals. Knowledge of Web design principals and application interface guidelines.
8. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.
