• Experience in automating the setup and scaling of big data clusters
• Strong understanding of the nature of distributed systems and its pitfalls.
• Experience in IAAC – Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Cloud formation
• Extensive experience with cloud technologies such as AWS/Azure
• Expertise in containers & virtualization – Docker, AMIs, Vagrant
• Fluent in build tools – Jenkins, Bamboo, Gitlab CI
• Fluent with monitoring alerting stack – ELK, Graffana, Prometheus
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Mesos will be considered as an advantage.
• Familiarity with modern ETL tools and orchestration platforms like Airflow is a big plus
• Good to have experience in DataOps – database change & version management
