Job Title: Database Lead - Oracle

Job Location: Hyderabad.

Job Type: Full Time

Shift Timings: Rotational Shifts (24/7)

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Job Summary:

The Database Lead will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical DB servers, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of the applications. This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications:

8- 12 years experience in database administration, operations and production support

Experience in database and application performance tuning

Experience in Monitoring, Back up/ Recovery Management, DB Provisioning/de-provisioning, DB refresh/restore, HA/DRE, Patching, migration, replication and upgrades

Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management

Experience in tools such as Service Now, JIRA, Confluence

Experience with SQL and PL/SQL

Sound knowledge on Golden Gate is an added advantage

Ability to document solutions and train operational teams

Experience with Amazon Web Services or Azure is a plus

Experience with automation, Ansible, Python is a plus

Experience in Sybase, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control, SQL Server, Postgres, Cloudera, Hadoop is a plus

Desirable Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication

Flexible, team player, get-it-done personality

Ability to organize and plan work independently

Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams

Experience in financial domain is a major plus

Certifications in this area is plus.
