Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide expert advanced modelling and data analytics support to all teams in Manufacturing Intelligence organisation and in support of project execution at manufacturing sites.
• Translate business requirements into tangible solution specifications and high quality, on time deliverables
• Provide data manipulation/transformation, model selection, model training, cross-validation and deployment support at scale
• Work with manufacturing sites stakeholders, analyse & solve business problems using Machine learning & Artificial Intelligence capabilities & support deployment on cloud platform
• Support development, testing, deployment and qualification of process soft sensor models.
• Support development, testing & validation of hybrid models using first principle mathematical modelling combined with Machine learning
• Stay abreast of industry 4.0 trends and developments in AI/ML and work with other MI teams to pilot new advances to drive value for Pfizer Global Supply (PGS)

Desired Candidate Profile

• Hands on experience in Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Natural Language Processing.
• Minimum 3 years Data Science experience for candidates with Post-graduation degree (MS/M.Tech) and 1 year+ for Ph.Ds with thesis/project in the relevant field
• Data science/ML and AI experience including hands on with Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow and PyTorch libraries (must have)
• Deployment of Python codes for real-time execution with experience of Tibco Streambase, Tibco Data Science, Kafka, Docker container or similar cloud platforms
• Development of connectivity interfaces with data sources and historians including OSI PI, SQL, Informa, MQTT
• Development & deployment of interactive visualizations using Spotfire or similar technology (must have)
• Configuration of filesystems, data warehouses, cloud solutions including experience of snowflake, SQL, AWS Sagemaker, HaDoop, Spark, Spotfire
• Intelligent and dynamic scheduling platforms
• First principle and hybrid model development (including soft sensors), background in heat transfer & thermodynamics will be added advantage
• Technical knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing unit operations and experience of delivery of innovative solutions in a regulated environment

Experience

• Minimum 3 years Data Science experience for candidates with Post-graduation degree (MS/M.Tech) and 1 year+ for Ph.Ds with thesis/project in the relevant field
• Experience with Global BioPharmaceuticals manufacturing group is preferred
