We’re looking for strong AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud experience

Work on cloud-based technologies and help lead cloud activities that enable’s Lilly’s purpose of uniting caring with discovery to create medicines that make life better for people around the world. You will be accountable for monitoring, optimizing, and identifying ways to improve the service provided by the Cloud Management team that supports AWS and Microsoft Azure. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must and having the ability to think “big picture” to implement positive change is also extremely important.

Experience:
3-5 experience in AWS or AZURE
5-8 overall experience

As one of our Cloud Engineers, your role will be
Primary Responsibilities
• Enhance and maintain the existing foundational AWS and Azure platforms
• Design and implement of a Secure Hybrid Multi-Cloud Cloud Foundation, repeatable patterns, templates, blueprints and/or accelerators to enable faster business IT adoption of cloud services.
• Identify opportunities to further automate manual processes
• Reduce costs associated with providing the foundational services

Relevant Skills
• Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management, Networking and Security in a Cloud environment
• Experience identifying and resolving issues independently. Demonstrates a solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgement
• Employs Think, Plan, Do, Review critical thinking process for all tasks, large and small
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with information systems
• Courage to take initiative in unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
• Ability to gain alignment with different business function and represent a common point of view across multiple stakeholders. Must be confident building partnerships with various IDS stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
• Certifications to include several of
o AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer
o Azure Administrator or Azure Developer or AWS DevOps Engineer
• Hands-on experience with
o Python, JSON, YAML, ARM, Cloudformation
• Comfortable providing support for remote locations
• Exceptional customer service orientation

Additional Skills/ Preferences
• Hands-on experience with automation technologies for CICD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS Code pipeline).
