Job Description

Globally Managed Support Services (GMSS) is an exciting part of the Zebra Technologies business, created to deliver innovative service offerings that increase the productivity and efficiencies of businesses and public organizations across key vertical markets. The Service Technologies team within GMSS is looking for an experienced BigData ETL Developer to develop new products, enhance and support existing products.

 

Responsibilities

    • Must have a strong experience working on Data platforms/Analytics experience,

 

    • Must have executed end to end data tunneling for Web based products / Projects.

 

    • Understand business requirements and come up with different tools/technologies needed to do executions.

 

    • Work with both the Product Owner and development team to understand needs and develop Plan accordingly.

 

    • Work with team members from QA, SysOps, Developers and Support.

 

    • Must have worked on Agile Scrum methodology for product development.

 

    • Strong problem solving skills and ability to re-engineer data models and flows.

 

    • Provides accurate problem identification, root cause analysis, design documentation.

 

    • Adhere to support policies and procedures.

 

    • Establishes strong working relationships with team members and across functional teams.



Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. (BE/BTech/MCA/MTech/Equivalent).

 

    • Minimum 3+ Years of working experince

 

    • 3+ years of experience with Big Data Technologies.

 

    • 3 + years of experience working on Web Based Products.

 

    • Work hands on Scala, Spark, Elastic Search & Kafka. ( Mandatory
      )

 

    • Must have worked on Cloud Technologies ( AWS & GCP ), Cassandra ( NoSQL DB ), SQL . Good Knowledge is must.

 

    • Working knowledge of web technologies including REST, JSP, Servlet, XML, HTML, Portals, Web Servers, etc.

 

    • Must be a self-starter and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

    • Must have worked with US based team.
