Roles and Responsibilities

• The Cloud Migration Project Manager would be aligned with a Cloud Solution Architect for specific applications/products to map out all servers that need to be migrated, sequence for migration, orchestration of activities, cloud/colo cost details, etc.
• Heavily data focused role working with complex spreadsheets to plan application/product migration activities/budgets that will rollup to the broader migration efforts.
• Responsible for overseeing the execution of the migration plan.
• Its very much a doer” role. This will be a key member of the migration team.
• Responsible for driving/managing mid-sized (10-15 FTE ) Cloud programs for clients.
• Will be the SPOC for all communication with the SQUADS for the program manager.
• Leading project planning sessions & Determine and define project scope and objectives
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Experience acting as a Scrum master.
• Experience with Delivery Tracking tools (Confluence/Jira/Azure Devops).
• Good communication skills.

Good to have

• Experience with data center exits/migrations or similar scale efforts a major plus.
• PMP, Prince-2 or other certifications
