Back End Developer
Job Description

We are looking for a Back-End Web Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements and middleware API built by your coworkers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

• Excellent C# programming skills.
• Experienced in .NET based software development for enterprise applications
• Expertise in as many as possible of the following:MVC frameworks – ASP.NET Core MVC or ASP.NET Core Web API
• REST, JSON, Good to have: gRPC, SOAP/XML
• Either of MQTT, AMQP or some other message queuing protocols.
• Multi-Threading and concurrency
• PowerShell & Batch scripting
• SignalR, Websockets.
• Experience working with Secrets as a Service (Key Vaults)
• Azure Functions (or AWS Lambda), Blob Storage and SQL Databases.
• Transact SQL, Stored Procedures and Experience working with RDBMS
• Any one NoSQL Databases like CosmosDB, MongoDB etc.
• Any Observability as Code framework (good to have: Azure OMS, Azure Monitor)
• Solid Understanding of basic networking protocols – TCP/IP, UDP & HTTP
• Exposure to single sign-on implementations with any of the following - LDAP implementation, Active Directory Implementation, specifically Azure AD B2B.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET design patterns, ORM/persistence technologies Web Services etc.
• Knowledge of application servers like IIS, NGINX etc. will be preferred.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and Azure Devops (good to have)
• Strong experience in Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests with nUnit.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
