Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
Collaborate with system architects, developers, and program office resources to provide engineering and technical leadership for the design, planning, and delivery of applications on an Azure-based microservices architecture.
Supporting the enterprise environment including engineering playbooks, training and developing standards and guidelines for engineers in their use of configuration management/application deployment tools including Azure AppServices, Docker, and Kubernetes
Microservices issue troubleshooting post-deployment on ingress, load balancers, SSL certs, secrets, configmap, etc.
Assisting application teams with on-boarding to the platform in areas such as resource requirements, capacity analysis, troubleshooting support
Creating and managing Azure CI/CD pipelines.
Design DevOps Strategy
Design and implement an Agile work management approach.
Design a secure development process
Implement DevOps Development process
Manage build infrastructure and application configuration and secrets
Implement a build and release strategy
Manage code quality and security policies
Set up a release management workflow
Implement best deployment pattern
Design an infrastructure and configuration management strategy
Migrating development environment to Azure
Azure infrastructure review for cost optimization
Azure infrastructure monitoring design and implementation.
Working with vendors to troubleshoot the platform and issues related to integrations with other internal systems
Developing and automating repeatable deployment tasks
Performance tuning of infrastructure components.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field.
10+ years of experience successfully engineering and providing technical solutions for the design and delivery of applications.
