Experience Required:

• Deliver integration solution architecture and high to low level designs for Data Solution.
• Experience in the Data Engineering working on Azure, MSBI projects.
• Strong experience with cloud services (Azure preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS services.
• leading delivery of Azure projects experience with different areas of Azure : Azure SQL, Azure Automation, Azure Resource management, Azure SQL Datawarehouse, Synapse Analytics, Hdinsight, Stream analytics, IOT hub
• Should have knowledge of Azure devops.
• Understanding of RDBMS databases and concept and implementation of NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Cosmos
• Strong experience on Azure worker Role, App services, Web Jobs, scheduler, Service Bus, Logic Apps and Event Hub
• Data warehouse – Should have hands-on data warehouse implementation experience using Azure SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, Azure SQL DW, SSIS and ADF.
• Azure storage and backup experience
• Proven background in the design and implementation of large scale, global, complex custom application development systems on MSBI (e.g., high transaction volumes).
• Advanced understanding of distributed systems architecture in Azure on a global basis
• Experience problem solving issues on globally distributed systems and critical product service environments
• Capable of technical deep dives into infrastructure, databases, and applications as needed, yet cognitively agile enough to have strategy discussions with leadership
• Experience of practical implementations of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately with corporate executives and technical teams.
• Coordinating/guiding engineering teams during design & development.
• Provide assistance in developing strategies for integrating data from various SaaS applications.
• Should have designed, configured, implemented Azure data lake and data warehouse solutions at the infrastructure level
• Cloud based services – Should be well versed with, Azure services used for Data storage and Data ingestion/transformation like ADF, BLOB etc.
• Experienced working in reporting tools SSRS, Power BI and Tableau
• Should be good in tsql, PowerShell, stored procedures and scripting
• Should have experience data migrating from on-premise to cloud
• Should possess good understanding of data governance (metadata management, data lineage, audit logging, data quality and master data management)
• Good knowledge of AZURE Cloud platform services stack - Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, AZURE Data Warehouse, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage, HD Insight, Cosmos DB, etc.
• Hands-on experience on designing and developing scripts for custom ETL processes and automation in any programming knowledge i.e. PowerShell, Python/Java etc.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing stored procedures/functions and leveraging it ETL packages/workflows
• Hands-on experience using tools like Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Container Instances, Azure API Management, Azure PowerShell, REST APIs.

Good to have:

• Excellent communication skills are a must
• Should be skilled in creating architecture and design documentation and knowledge of data engineering tools & technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate/Participate fusion to derive Requirement
• Hands on experience in Data Extraction, Data Analysis and Profiling, Data Quality Management, Data Loading, Data Standardization, Data Visualization
• Should have good knowledge designing Data Lake
• Proficient with Data Warehousing activities with an exposure in ETL/ELT process design
• Experience in interacting with Business users in analyzing the Business process requirements and transforming them into documents, design, and rolling out the deliverables.
• Experience in building large-scale data processing systems and serving as an expert in data solutions.
• Derive models to map requirements Business matrix, closures.
• Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads.
• Help development team and help then on technical solution
• Understand and document technical requirements from clients
• Define Migration strategy to move application to cloud
• Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services and tools;
• Knowledge on the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc
• Design the HA / DR strategies
• Set up process, services and tools around cloud
• Oversee build of the environment
• Execute migration plan
• Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls.
