We are on the hunt for a talented Azure Cloud Admin, with Windows Virtual Desktop knowledge to manage our company's Azure Cloud Instance. You will play a strategic role in maintaining all cloud systems including the front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks.

Responsibilities

• Designing the cloud environment from a holistic point of view, ensuring it meets all the company's requirements.
• Carrying out deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and management tasks within this implemented cloud structure.
• Overseeing cloud security.
• Completing the integration of new applications into the cloud environment.
• Provide advanced Server systems setup, administration, configurations, and automated implementations.
• Perform server and web service deployments, configurations, updates, and improvements. Support functionality and security audits and provide technology recommendations.
• Push code updates and releases for web components and products into Staging, Integration, Production and Disaster Recovery environments.
• Anticipate and research new cloud and web technologies appropriate to our cloud infrastructure, platform, and products.
• Help define, improve and promote architecture and standards based on ITIL best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems as required 247 and serve as one of the highest levels of escalation for system administration issues.
• Develop relationships with professional organizations, user groups, and industry trade groups to stay current with latest technology.
• Offering training and guidance to all whose roles bring them into contact with the cloud and DevOps structure.

Required Skill Set

• 2-5 years of experience with architecting and designing technical solutions using combination of Azure IaaS and PaaS.
• In-depth working knowledge of setting and managing Windows Virtual Desktops
• Hands on experience with creating, deploying, configuring, and scaling applications in Azure.
• Expert knowledge of designing high availability systems in Azure (fault domains, availability zones, regions).
• Knowledge of Azure Database fundamentals (Azure SQL DB, Azure SQL Managed Instance);
• Experience with automated provisioning of Dev/Test/Staging and Production environments using Infrastructure as a Code.
• Knowledge of networking and security concepts
• Experience in virtualized technology infrastructure design, implementation and troubleshooting
• Experience with operating Windows Systems Administration and troubleshooting

Nice to Have:

• Programming and scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, SQL, .NET, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby, PERL, C++
• Windows Virtual Desktop setup experience

Requirements

• Experience writing scripts to automate common administrative, deployment and infrastructure tasks.
• Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory
• Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a cross-functional global team.

• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
• Familiar with solution implementation/management, service/operations management, etc.
• Maintains close awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application for service offerings and products.
• Knowledge and understanding of software development full lifecycle methodologies, patterns, frameworks, libraries, and tools as you'd work closely with our Product Development teams
• Good organizational skills and the ability the track and prioritize several tasks.
