Skills/Requirements

• Min 3 - 4 years of work experience as cloud engineer in AWS domain.
• Serves as AWS support engineer with operational responsibility of managing BAU support to include all services under AWS Support Management.
• Implementing the Cloud monitoring tools, setting alert mechanism & Manage SLA and enforce infrastructure standards.
• Strong knowledge in implementing Windows server (2019,2016,2012 r2, Red hat Linux, Amazon Linux, Centos) and troubleshooting.
• Should be familiar with Cloud tools like CLI, Lambda, Cloud formation.
• Expertise in Identity and access management for providing access to Users and assigning roles to the servers.
• Must have an experience in Load balancing and Auto-scaling.
• Relevant experience as a system admin at OS level.
• Understanding knowledge about DNS, TCP/IP and firewalls.
• Must have hands on experience in handing servers.
• Experience in building the tunnel between (IPSEC, P2S, AWS VPN) and on prem Firewall.
• Problem solving skills, ability to analyse, resolve complex infrastructure issue and resource.
• Enabling/ Modifying rules on security groups.
• Detailed use of AWS Monitoring Service- Cloud Watch (Check Start/Stop Scheduler, monitoring etc.)
• Making sure backup completion successful.
• Checking and verifying lambda scheduler with Cloud watch.
• Resource Optimization & Resource Usage Management.
• Knowledge of ITIL or equivalent process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Designing and deploying dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant and reliable application on cloud.
• Migrating complex, multi-tier applications on cloud platform
• Implementing cost-control strategies.
• Working closely with clients, consulting professional designs, implement strategies to help enhance business performance.
• Understanding of Backup and lifecycle management.
• A Deep grasp in Active directory and domain controller, assigning Group policy and user authentication.
• Create and renewal of SSL certificate.
• Able to work as a team and command to learn new thing and utilizing their knowledge by automating the day-to-day activities.
• Control the flow mechanism and data flow to and from the servers.
• Capable to migrate on-premises workload to service providers.
• Understand the current application infrastructure and workloads
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Understand and document technical requirements from clients
• Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services (such as EC2, S3 etc.) and tools.
• Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc
• Design the AWS/Azure network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets
• Design the HA / DR strategies
