Roles and Responsibilities

We, at OFS looking for a AWS Cloud Architect who will be the subject matter expert takes ownership for cloud managed services and solutioning. Looking for a good team player who will coach and mentor both internal and external stake holders on all aspects of cloud engineering. Ideal candidate should posses a culture of cloud consciousness and understand the trade-offs between security, usability, reusability, performance, optimistic solutioning and the application ecosystem in large scale.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 8 + years of experience working in application development for both web and mobility including minimum 5+ years of work experience in cloud application architecting and solutioning native/migration in AWS

• Should have strong knowledge in OOAD,OOPs, Solid principles, Design patterns and any programming knowledge.
• Should be able to work in multiple projects and to be on top in prioritizing the personal backlog and limit the number of work in progress items.
• Having certification in Cloud security engineering from AWS is a big plus.
• Should have knowledge/experience in cloud application development
• Should have knowledge/experience in cloud network engineering
• Should have knowledge/experience in storage & disaster recovery
• Should have experience and knowledge in wider scope of application development
• Excellent training and mentoring skills with passion for people engagement
• Should be able to convert customer requirements to software requirement specifications with detailed identification of cloud components.
• Should closely work with PTA (Presales Technical Architect), Business team to development engineering and share responsibility with delivery team.
• Experience with provisioning and orchestrating components of cloud engineering to build and deploy the software in cloud eco system
• Must have work experience with containers and security orchestration
• Security implementation with Infrastructure As-A Service/Infrastructure As A Code (IaaS/IaaC)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Should have strong knowledge in security guidelines like OWASP/SANS
• Should have exposure to opensource security tooling like ZAP, Kali Linux

• Certification in any one of the project management skills - CSM/PSM/PMP/Prince-2
• Certified - AWS Cloud Certificate Solution Architect
