Boeing Data Solutions Service provides multiple products and offerings that allow application teams to have the flexibility and agility to meet their specific application development and security requirements, by securing and enabling business data. The team is currently looking for one Associate Database Developer to join their team in Bengaluru, KA.

Position Responsibilities:

• Work very closely with product manager, Database Administrators and Database architects to define technical product requirements and collaborate within agile team to drive User story/tasks creation along with design and development activities.
• Create and maintain necessary software design and relevant documentation.
• Proactive suggestions in identifying Technical Debt and recommendations in removing it
• Automation using DevSecOps and other available tools to expedite the product development along with First Time Quality
• Participate in group sessions within developer community and share knowledge
• Mentors junior team members and contribute in creating and maintaining best coding practices and oversight using stringent reviews.
• Design & develop modules and components
• Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution
• Monitor the implementation of architecture throughout the system development lifecycle and seek and provide clarification when needed.
• Work with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations within Boeing and external partners, across different cultures and time-zones.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 4+ Experience on building tools .NET
• 4+ years’ experience on working with geographical spread teams across time zones
• 4+ years Software Development experience in Agile methodology
• 3+ years’ experience on interaction with customers and/or user groups
• Experience in software testing including automated testing is desirable
• Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones.
• Should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Preferred knowledge in Internet-based applications and development like ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
• Identify inefficient SQL and PL/SQL and tune them using appropriate hints and indexes
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
• Displays excellent oral and written communication skills to team members, peers, customers and management
• Strong interpersonal skills - Capable of working as a member of a team, maintaining one's composure in difficult situations
• Collaborate effectively with other team members
• Experience in Windows and UNIX operating systems
• Ability to take given specifications and generate code for functional applications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Preferred knowledge in database design, development and using database technologies like Microsoft SQL Server or PL-SQL
• Preferred knowledge in programming with object-oriented languages like C#
• PowerShell experience desired

Typical Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or 3 year Diploma with typically 5 + Years related work experience and/or a Master's degree with typically 4 + Year's related work experience or relevant military experience.
