Danfoss is looking for a dedicated Assistant Analyst to join our Hydraulic division. 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

1. Perform extensive data validation/quality assurance analysis within large datasets 
2. Should be able to work independently to drive BI Initiatives such Inventory Toolkit, Power BI Dashboarding & Analytics Projects across Supply Planning domain 
3. Build proactive data validation automation to catch data integrity issues - Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues 
4. Ability to build tabular and/or visualization reports as needed 
5. Work independently and with team members to understand database structure and business processes 
6. Identify opportunities to improve data and business processes utilizing Power BI, Python, R. (has at least driven 4-5 Big Impact projects utilizing Power BI/R/Python/Clauderia
7. Initiate and create effective forums with other functions and businesses to share and implement best practices. 
8. Develop a culture of adopting big data analytics and system programming to generate best insights from big data to drive better decisions and ensure timely measurement, reporting, and visibility to Product Supply status to all cross functional stakeholders across organization. 
9. Closely work with cross functional team members, Functional Managers and Program Managers to support functional vision also closely work with peers to handle their queries, escalations, trainings and closing the necessary gaps

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

• Should be Graduate BCS or Business Analytics 
• 2 to 5 years of experience into Data Science / Business Intelligence with close association with SCM and understanding of basic concepts of Inventory/SIOP 

Technical knowledge

• Proficient into tools like R studio, Power BI, MS Access, SQL and Tableau query building.
• Proficient skills level in MS Office: Advanced Excel (VBA) and Power Point presentations. 
• Knowledge of ERP (Oracle , SAP , Mfg Pro.) will be Preferred 
• Data Science Certified Preferred
